Summary
Before the arrival of the Imperium, Savage was the central military might of the System and even expanded its influence to neighboring systems. Capitalising on the already extensive stockpiled armoury and distribution network the Imperium expanded upon the district in order to allow docked Crusade fleets to rearm their forces before moving on.
With the Great Crusade collapsing and the Imperium falling to civil war, such a cache of arms and armour is going to be a valuable addition to either sides resources.
