| − | Having been a part of the hobby for most of my life, first picking up Chaos Space Marines in 40k at the age of 10 in 1997, I was first introduced to 30k in early 2016 with the founding of The Warrior Lodge in Brisbane, playing in their first Brother's Revenge event in February that year. Soon after this on one of my many trips from Brisbane to Armidale, I first listened to 'The Eye of Horus' podcast, and these two events, combined with my love of the Horus Heresy novels lead to me fully engaging with 30k, to the point it is now my preferred gaming system.

| − | My current 30k army is also my long-time 40k love, in Iron Warriors, and I particularly love that I can play an Iron Warriors army that feels like what an Iron Warriors army should, which is almost impossible in 40k. I am also in the process of starting 2 smaller forces to initially run as allied detachments, being a Selucid Thorakites force using the Militia list, and a Mechanicum force, 'cos walking robots of doom.

| − | Having run and helped to run several events last year through the Warrior Lodge, with the largest being a 32 player 40k Doubles event in September, I am this year directing my efforts to running Narrative Based 30k events, with the main one for this year being 'Conflict at Calderas IV' coming in June of this year.
