517-16 is the largest planet in the system, and the only Gas Giant, and a key world for the mining of Promethium for the entire Cambrius Sub Sector. Before being reunited with the Imperium, it was known as Barony Alev, and consisted of only the sub orbital plate Cardus and the Capital Alevellus, once brought into compliance though it was a demonstration of how the Imperial Warmachine would shape a planet to its own desire. The Mechanicum was instructioned to begin construction quickly began to help with the mining and refining of the promethium gas clouds; the giant Sub Orbital Plate Cenusa was commissioned to house the population while a Continent sized mining station was deployed, while The Sanguine Spaceport was created to allow the massive amounts of gas to be exported off world quickly.

This new power and wealth brought to the Alev Dynasty gave them power within the system that they had not previously had and did not wish to give this up when the Heresy began, initially declaring for the Imperium, retribution from the traitor fleet came swift and strong with an assassin killing off the baron days after the declaration. The population went into hysterics, as the people started fighting each other to determine the fate of their planet, Legionnaires in the crimson of the Word Bearers started appearing, spreading the Word of the Lorgar, inciting more bloodshed, and forcing those still loyal to the Emperor to flee, initially to Cardus, then to Cenusa before having to go into hiding and launching only hit and run attacks on the traitors at the Sub Orbial Plate as the sons of Lorgar took control of the rest of the planet and the massive reserves that it has to offer.
