517-19 is the planet closest planet to the Infernus Star at the heart of the system. 517-19 for all intents should be too hot for any native lifeforms to have evolved, but what has puzzled Historians is the ancient ruins that lay at the south pole, no attempts to infiltrate them has revealed anything in the catacombs beneath the surface, and the structures above ground have proved to be completely indestructible, every time they suffer any damage they seem to grow back.

Before Compliance, 517-19 was just a mining station and refinery, able to export massive quantities of Ceramite across the system. In order to do so, the Pandemonium Spaceport was erected, designed to be able to allow the Bulk Transporters to actually land and ferry materials as well as space elevators to bring materials to the orbital stations above. As far as the actual population itself is concerned, the sole outpost on the planet is based at Ignis, on the edge of the desert Decandia Gravtrains transport indentured servants to the Mines and back daily until they have served their time to be allowed to relocate to the Capital planet.

The material value of the planet was known to both sides at the outbreak of the heresy and both loyalists and traitor forces in system quickly made plays for the mine itself, the loyalists quickly taking control of it, but as the traitors started to bring their forces to bear, the loyalists fell back retreating all the way to Pandemonium digging in and fortifying the station itself in order to cut the supply lines and prevent any more resources being brought to or from the planet. Though the vox communications have been scattered, the loyalists suspect that the forces aligned to the warmaster are currently attempting to search the Ruins to see if any treasures lay beneath.
