Clan Arrkos had just been fully assembled after its recent creation at the peak of the great crusade when the treachery of Horus became known. This meant that they where far away on Medusa when the heresy unfolded and their primarch charged to his doom. Leaning heavily on armoured assault, their moniker early became "the Iron Spear", aiding Meduson on several assaults on traitor positions after their arrival to the front.
