Battle Summary
Dark Angels Company "Walkers of the Black Spiral" (L-I-3539) vs. T-CUST-6140 custodes of Nemesis Wardens part of Nemesis Strike group. The Angels had arrived and secured a R&D station on Kenuc Alpha and were awaiting extraction when they received report of incoming forces dispatched to recover the grav tank anti-gravity research and schematic data stores. In response the Angels set up for ambush the incoming invaders. They sent the Watchers of the Golden Throne. Custodes. What else is hidden in that data for the Emperor to dispatch his guard. Or does the treachery of the Lion know no bounds that he was able to convince his Sanguinis to send them? The ambush was set. Only a small detachment marched on the Angels position. As the Angels were about to close the jaws on the trap. More Custodes arrived from orbit behind their lines. Bolsters barked and Lascannon fire blazed. The golden armor of their adversaries with stood the full fury of the legion. Quickly they closed ranks with the Angels as a small unit secure the R&D building. Captured the plans and made their escape as the legion was either out of position or locked in mortal combat too deep to break away and stop their escape with the data. A major victory for the Empire
