Briefing
The Salamanders Primarch, Vulcan, has been captured by the Traitors forces during an engagement on the Forge World of Dur-Kazit. The Loyalist intelligence cadre has discovered the location of the facility he is being held in but only have a limited window in which to execute a rescue operation. It is vital that the Primarch is extracted as quickly as possible as it is highly likely that the Traitor command will interrogate and latter execute him.

Battle Summary
A Rescue Operation to recover the Primarch Corax.
While there were a number of strike teams dispatched to rescue the Primarch, the Traitors had guarded their prize well and repelled most of the invaders. Only a single Loyalist team successfully penetrated the prison complex and while they were quickly exterminated, they were able to deploy a transponder beacon for a far larger Raven guard contingent in orbit. Teleporting into the prison, the elite fighters of the Raven Guard made short work of the unprepared guards and extracted their Primarch who is currently suspected to be recovering out of system. While rescued, it is unknown what intelligence or value the Traitors may have gained by having the Primarch for such an extended period of time.
