Global Heresy
The Global Heresy is an ongoing worldwide campaign which allows players, no matter where they are, to submit Battle and Skirmish Reports against planets within the same System. The ongoing results are updated, live, producing a report on the level of Influence each faction has over the planets involved. At the end of the three month phase the System is locked and the faction with the most Influence will be declared the winner of the phase (even if they dont control all of the planets!) and will vote on which System to attack in the next phase.
Winning factions can elect to return to a previously fought over System to attempt to overthrow the previous winners or reinforce their grip on it or they could vote to extend the war into previously peaceful areas of space, even pushing into the Eastern Fringe and continuing the Great Crusade against the Xenos.
