Ivanic 4 is a Forgeworld

Population

One of the higher populated planets of the systems at the time of Compliance, Ivanic 3 was a low tech Agrarian society when the Great Crusade swept through. The years since have seen a small increase in its population to tip over fifteen million across the surface.

History

Unlike most of the planets in the Kenuc System, Styx has little to no mineral resources, which is the primary reason it was overlooked as the System capital when the Imperium originally conquered the area in the name of the Emperor. Instead it is an exceptionally fertile planet which has near perfect orbit and lunar cycles to create rapid growing condition for its crops. Even before the planet was brought into the fold of the Imperium there were significant agricultural settlements scattered across its continents, but very little industry. The Imperium maintained this tendency and simply expanded the agricultural activities to encompass the planet’s entire surface and established distribution routes throughout the System and its neighbors.

With little need to implement high industry in anything other than orbital stations, the planet was quickly turned into a highly productive agri world and its output has been steadily rising as more and more farming plots are brought online and linked into the automated distribution system. While estimated to take roughly three centuries for the population and farming distribution to reach optimum levels, the increase will occur naturally with population growth and planned expansion with little to no more intervention from the Imperium.
