July Painting Competition!

Welcome to July, and there is lots happening!!
The June Inspection: Swell the Ranks entry phase is now closed while there were only four entries, all four were completed (one by the skin of their teeth!) and are now available for viewing and voting. Please click on the link above and go and take a look at the completed entries, giving each one a vote out of five using the voting box at the top left hand corner of the pages. Voting is only open for a week (7th of July) after which is will then go to the panel judges who will add their votes to decide on the winner of the Secret Weapon Voucher.
The July Inspection: Heraldry of War is now open for entries. This months competition is geared towards painting something extra on a model to show its allegiance, this could be a Banner, a faction emblem, a shoulder par insignia etc. The dates and keyword are all in the link as well as the entry creation button, get in early and give yourself ample time to paint it up.
As for the The Mustering itself, it continues to grow at a steady pace. There are now 15 Pacts created with participants committing to paint close to 9,000 points worth of models and already nearly a 1,000 of that has already been completed! The is currently in the lead is all respects, they have the most Pacts, the most committed and the most Mustered! Get out there and start rounding up support for your preferred faction and keep the Pacts coming in.
Lastly, we would normally be kicking off a new Phase to the Global Heresy about now, but with so much happening we decided not to launch it on the same day as all of the Inspection activity. Instead we will be making a special announcement of the launch in a couple of weeks and Phase Two will incorporate a new aspect; each of the three planets under attack in the next phase of the worldwide campaign will be 'owned' and managed by one of three 30K podcasts; The Imperial Truth, The Eye of Horus and The Age of Darkness. These three podcasts will announce challenges to their listeners and set scenarios for their planets, the descriptions of each will be posted on the Global Heresy page, and as the campaign progresses they will choose to have effects happen based on the results of the battle reports YOU submit against their planets. People are still free to log their battle reports against the planets as normal (without the suggested scenarios) but this just adds a bit of an added campaign element.
The new System is currently being created and will go live in the very near future, stay tuned to the podcasts for the first set of scenarios and challenges and be sure to log all of your games!!
