Centurion-Captain Ezra Morphideus

Srg Ezra of the 1st Legion

Ezra Morphideus, born a son of Caliban before the Emperors coming is said to have arisen from the deep mountain outposts on Caliban situated north of Aldurukh. Not much more is known about Ezra before his trials of entry into The Order and no records show of any outpost that wasn’t ‘swallowed’ by the deep wilds leading to speculation that Ezra is in fact the only survivor of any known colonisers whom migrated north.

Ezra is best recognised by his significant facial scarring given to him during a brutal dual with a a VIIIth legionnaire centurion during the Baylonnian Conflict inwhich Ezra was the sole survivor of his assault cadre. Found by local forces after the battle in a comatose state, Ezra was evacuated to the Sable Night for immediate care. During his evacuation it was noted he carried a perculiar weapon for which he has since become famous amongst the Legion for wielding - a Nostramon Chain-Glaive of ornate design, it is thought to be a ‘trophy’ from his duel which has seen him brutally scarred and almost fatally wounded.

Ezra has been selected for field advancement following many notable actions over the course of his illustrious history, a promotion long thought overdue. At this point of time he has been given a provisionary ranking of centurion-captain under the watchful eye of Lord Davian Locke during the 2nd Compliance of Corabie campaign situated in the Helix Cluster.
