The Remembered
Wolf Lord Egill Kin-slayer (Hersir Egill Mögfellandr), served as a Consul Obsequeari in the VI Legion during the opening years of the Great Crusade. The role of battlefield overseer earned Egill the name Mögfellandr (Kin-slayer), garnering a grim reputation amongst the astartes of the Vlka Fenryka as an uncompromising leader, ferocious warrior and utterly callous executioner. The reorganising of the legion following the reunification of Primarch Leman Russ rendered the position of Consul Obsequeari obsolete. However, the Wolf King was keen to utilise Hersir Mögfellandr’s particular disposition from his former role. Placing him in command of Fyf Sveit, For-twa Herlið, a hunter-killer unit with the duty to watch over the Emperor’s Legions. Egill lead his astartes through the remaining years of the Great Crusade, the Raising of Prospero and the events of the Horus Heresy. By the conclusion of the galactic civil war, Hersir Mögfellandr would be the only surviving member of the Fyf Fólcvíg Hirð.
