History
The Barbaran Scythes are comprised of some of the earliest Death Guard legionaries to declare for the Warmaster having been some of the earliest also to have joined the warrior lodges as they were created within the XIVth Legion. They are a new formation drawn from these lodge members who demonstrate the fullest commitment to Mortarion and the Warmaster's cause. Having all fought in the Istvaan III purge and the slaughter of on Istvaan V the Barbaran Scythes they are a veteran unit with exstensive battlefield experience.
Having been deployed to the Australis Ultima conflict they aim to add to their glorious history by bringing death to the enemies of the Death Lord and the Warmaster.
