History
The 64th Line Company of the XIVth Legio is most made up of Tactical Squads and Support Units. Having been mostly isolated due to a falling out between their Captain Gurak Sid and 1st Captain Calas Typhon. Spending their time in small bloody compliances at the edge of the Great Crusade. Many in the company believe their supply issues and lack of reinforcement and replacement of losses. Have come from some manipulation by Calas. The 64th in turn have retained their Dusk Raider colours in honour of their previous captain who was mortally wounded before they finding of the Primarch and interred in a Contemptor dreadnought chassis, this has drawn some condemnation from other companies in the legion. This is not helped by the company still referring to themselves as the Dusk Raiders.
Supply issues have led to a lack of transport and combat vehicles among the company with what few they have being kept for exceptional circumstances. Instead they advance like old Terran infantry had before early mechanization, on foot. Prized throughout the company are the suits of Cataphractii war plate they have managed to keep in service, it is seen as a great honour to join one of the squads and fight alongside their dreadnought clad brothers.
The 64th would probably have stayed loyal were it not for a Word Bearer Chaplin by the name of Barzin. His treasonous words lead first Gurak and then the company into damnation in the eyes of the Emperor. Now they are seeing supplies previously held from them trickle in allowing, whether this will continue comes down to what they can achieve in the name of the Warmaster.
