Typhorius Daarchin

Talon Captain
XIXth Legion
19th Chapter
Allegiance: Fedelitas Constantus

Little is known about Typhorius Daarchin childhood prior to being recruited into the proto-Legion during the unification wars on Terra. What is known however is that he originates from one the Terran central Asiatic Dustfileds techno-savages. Already a senior officer at the time of Corax reunion with the Emperor and his Legion his skills and knowledge was almost legendary within the XIX. Recognizing Daarchins potential Corax gave him command of the 19th Chapter who formed part of the 37th Expeditionary Fleet. The Compliance record of the 37th would stand as a shining beacon during the Great Crusade. The 19th Chapter was conducting a Compliance action in the Segmentum Ultima when the call came to make for Istvaan V to confront the traitorous Horus. What happen there is left to the dark annuals of history. Sufficient to say thanks to the coordination and planning by Typhorius a large portion of the 19th Chapter managed to survive the destruction of the XIX Legion at the Drop Site Massacre. During the extraction from the war torn planet, the Chapter splintered into separate Strike Talons to avoid detection. With each Talon heading for the closest Loyalist Imperial system, most of them regrouping in the Ultima Segmentum. Rearming and resupplying as best as they could they soon started to use their available resources to conduct hit and run strikes at the traitors whenever possible.
