History

Gaddon rose to prominence as the captain of the 20th during the brutal wars of IstvaanIII and IstvaanV. He inherited a unit ravaged by attrition and the cull of their own ranks. Despite these initial setbacks to his command he steadily reshaped his force on the Long March towards Terra. Forming his remaining veterans into terminator units, thanks to the influx of gear and war machines presented by the Dark Mechanicum, he accepted any new legionary he could into his company. At every chance he was forging this fresh grist on the altar of war, requesting the most difficult assignments and not halting his assault until he acquired his objectives. The casualties were high, but there were always more recruits willing to die for their chance at glory in the rising star that was the 'Reaving XXth'

Gaddon and Abbadon were part of the forces responsible for the assault on the still contested Alkoss system, a world rich in technology of the Dark Age, and a strategically vital world for it's warp routs. It is on Alkoss that Gaddon, leading a force of reavers was gravely wounded by a Dark Angel plasma repeater, after slaying the offending biker he collapsed, a burning hole rent through most of his internal organs. Swiftly his loyal men carried him to the Apothecarion, who forwent the Warmaster's benediction and placed him in a Cortis Pattern dreadnaught. Thus the armored form of Gaddon still leads his force, for he is an unusually active dreadnaught. He is still at the forefront of any action taken by his beloved unit, slaying loyalists with a zeal that has only strengthened with time.
