History
The 86th had a large attached Auxilla for the majority of the Great Crusade. A mix of seconded Imperial Army units, feral tech scavengers liberated from Ork held worlds, and aspirants who failed the initial screenings to become Legionnaires. At Istvaan V the vast majority of this force was expended to blunt the Loyalists attack and expend their ammunition.
