History

RS-137 was a human sphere dominated by a powerful technocracy. A ham-fisted attempt early in the Crusade to bring it to compliance sparked off a planet wide civil war of immense proportions. More and more Imperial units were brought in however the fighting was so bloodthirsty and complex, compliance was still not achieved when blood started to soak the black sands of the Urgal Depression. A rich bounty of weapons and technology remain on the planet, attracting raiding and hunter forces from both sides of the galactic conflict. Some are there to retrieve weapons and technology for battles to come, some are drawn purely by the need for vengeance. One thing is certain, thousands of more souls will be reaped on the planet known as The Front.
