Savage Reach

The Kildrech System is a Frontier System used by the Black Templars during an early Crusade after the Second Founding, with a large Chapter Keep established in conjunction with a minor Adeptus Mechanicus forge site, Cerberus. In the early stages of M36 the reach of the Astronomican began to retract cutting the Kildrech System off and isolating it from the rest of the Imperium; eventually forgotten. This weakening of the Astronomican was due to the presence of a probing tendril of a Tyranid hive fleet which went on to decimate the System before withdrawing.

The System, and its Templar Fortress, was recently rediscovered by an Imperial expeditionary fleet who reported the find to the Black Templar Space Marine Chapter, who dispatched the Kildrech Crusade to secure the System for the Emperor. With the emergence of the Phonicas Choir the Kildrech System has once again become an accesible System within the Phonicas Sub-Sector.
