History
Following the betrayal of the sinister Word Bearers at Calth, the system of Iax suffered numerous raids and would have been completely overthrown without the stalwart defence and superior tactics of the 37th Company of the ultramarines. Under the direction of the praetor Samus the 37th has vowed to end this conflict, and the betrayers behind it.
Noteable Warriors
Samus - Praetor - Follows the teachings of his Primarch and favours a combined arms approach when available. Keeps a cool head at all times and does not let his emotions cloud his judgement.
Lokarius - Librarian - Following the Nikea Edict, Lokarius served as an advisor to Samus, counciling him on matters of psychic phenomenon. Now with the Heresy in full swing every weapon is needed and he is once again loosed onto the battlefield.
Arquilin - Master of Signals - Main role in battle is target aquisition, forward observer and direction of fire of his fellow marines. Quiet and tacturn.
