History
Prefect Mathayus Amrit has served with the Emperor's elite since the founding of the Legio. Fighting in Almost every conflict at the Master of Mankind's side until the war on Ullanor. After Ullanor however some custodes were dispatched to work alongside the Astartes Legions, Mathayus was one of those. His great diplomacy skills and desire to be at the heart of the conflict meant a good fit with the IXth Legion to which he was assigned. When Larger wars were being fought with multiple legions present others of the Legio rotated in and out of his command as befit his rank. Leading Strike forces into the very heart of the enemy with great vigour proving himself to be a capable and dependable commander.
After Many years of fighting alongside Blood Angels veterans of the 11th company word reached their fleet of the great heresy. Mathayus sent out a call to all other custodes with the longest range communications he could and within weeks managed to assemble a small strike force who could fight alongside the mighty company of Blood Angels. Whilst rallying his small team, word reached them fleet of the fall of patersworld. They were not far out and could be there swiftly to begin reclaiming it for the Emperor...
