The Battle for Harkarialis System has begun

Well the Second Phase of the Global Heresy has started off with a bang! Kug'Arkal has had a flood of conflicts at Dogon Station using Zone Mortalis scenarios but there is no clear leader with the Traitors and Loyalists neck and neck over the planets influence. For those wanting to play larger games be sure to check out both Kaska'Irilis and Ark'alask Septimus for their scenario and tune into the podcasts to listen to the latest scenarios and suggested game styles; The Imperial Truth, The Eye of Horus and The Age of Darkness.
Amidst the chaotic battle of Dogon Station we also completed voting on Inspection 2 which was to paint up a model(s) based on the theme Heraldry of War. There were some fantastic entries into the competition and some great work all around, the top three entries have now been forwarded onto the Judging panel for final consideration and the winner will be announced on Saturday. If you missed out on entering July's competition, fear not, Inspection 3 is already underway and this months theme is Adapting to the Battlefield; A model (or models) which have had some level of conversion on them. While a simple head swap will qualify, it may not get many votes so be sure to get inventive and this also includes complete scratch builds as well.
There have also been a number of new PACTs entered into The Mustering as well, pushing the total number to 33 with over 17,000 points of models being committed to being painted by the end of the year. The Mechanicum have committed the most points while their closely associated Knights have actually delivered the most so far. If you are wanting to build a new army, expand an existing one or just enjoy painting, be sure to get your PACT entered and support the Faction of you choice to ensure that they are victorious.
