Battle Summary
The initial skirmishes of the Liberation all took place in the Kuiper Belt of the Fuschal System, among the myriad icy planetisimals and asteroids of the Outer Shoals. Some of those encounters were boarding actions against small monitor and supply ships that needed to be seized or silenced, but least 20 of the asteroids had existing or recently constructed auspex stations. They could not be allowed to report the arrival of the Loyalist fleets.
Fortunately, most of these auspex stations were poorly manned, usually lacking more than a tech-priest or two, fifty to one-hundred asteroid miners neuro-engineered into obedient adsecularii, and a small compliment of battle-automata. However, the conditions of total vacuum and utter cold presented their own problems."
Phase 1 - Battlefield Conditions on the surface of the asteroids - Icy (Gets Hot results may be re-rolled). Airless - All weapons gain Rending, or Rending on 5+ if they already have that trait.
