The Mustering is complete!

First off, welcome to 2016!
Last year saw a significant growth in the use of the AUS30K website in its various functions with Battle Reports, Campaign Trackers and the trial painting challenges; The Mustering and Inspections. The number of users also went from under thirty to over three hundred over the course of the year with the vast majority of those new comers creating army profiles and submitting reports or entering competitions. So thank you to you, the community, for interacting with us here over at AUS30K and I hope you are enjoying the portal.
Next up we have the winner of the last Inspection, the November round which was themed: Engage the Enemy and the entry had to contain some evidence of the enemy; it can be a duel underway (or recently completed), enemy casualties or other signs that the enemy has been engaged. While the entries were exceptional the judging was unanimous in declaring Freddie's entry the winner! Congratulations! Further down this post is a summary of the winning entries from last year.
The Mustering painting challenge has also come to a close with the totals tallied; out of 52 PACTS created committing 27,150 points of models, a total of 30 PACTS were completed and mustered 15,610 points of painted models, well done guys! The faction winners are:
- Mechanicum: 3,455 points
- Sons of Horus: 3,315 points
- Night Lords: 2,180 points
- Dark Angels: 1,510 points
- Ultramarines: 1,335 points
The players of the above factions during the upcoming ACT of Heresy event in Canberra will receive some vital information and some small buffs for their armies during the campaign thanks to the support of community!
The individual winners of the Challenge itself will each be receiving a $10 voucher from Black Cultist:
- Chopper008, Master of Recruits - Contributed the most points to the Mustering overall (irrelevant of Faction(s)) by Mustering a total of 5,495 points of painted models!
- Chopper008, Master of the Forge - The single largest completed PACT worth 2,345 points!
- Ezaviel, Champion of the Legion - The lead contributor (in point’s) to the winning Faction with his 1,475 point PACT supporting the Mechanicum
- Ezaviel, Logisticae Agent - The participant who contributed to the most Factions (points in case of a tie) supporting three different factions during the Mustering
- ThatGuy462, Touched by the Warp - Due to the random number generator picking his PACT from all of the completed ones

Lastly the year closed out with one of the most highly participated phases of the Global Heresy thanks to the fantastic efforts of both the Podcasts involved and of course their listeners!
