History
The Defenders of Konor stand as Honour Guard to Ultramar's foremost Forge World.
Often accompanied by the military might of the Mechanicum, the forces of Tetrarch Eikos Lamiad incorporate many technologies rarely seen in other formations of the Legiones Astartes.
Notable Heroes
Eikos Lamiad - Tetrarch of Konor. Prince of the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar. Second in authority only to the Primarch Guilliman himself. Eikos Lamiad's service career is long and distinguished, and his body bears the marks of that career proudly. Extensively reconstructed by the Tech-Priests of Konor; half of Tetrarch Lamiad's face is a porcelain blank, artfully rendered in a likeness of the flesh it replaces.
Tetrarch Lamiad is a man of hope. He eagerly awaits the day when the Great Crusade will be done, and he begins the task of ruling an empire rather than building one. To him, Calth is a shining beacon of that hope, and the arrival of the XVII Legion for a combined exercise only strengthens his resolve that the Imperium cannot be stopped.
Chaplain Xenophus - A result of the Edict of Nikaea, Chaplain Xenophus watches the Legionaries of Konor for any sign of the powers forbidden by the Emperor Himself. In addition to this, Chaplain Xenophus serves as an inspiration his men, leading them into battles even the staunchest veteran would baulk at. His masterful use of power axe and boarding shield has carried he and his men to victory through every engagement, and forward into the next.
The Bulwark - Sworn to silence for crimes known only to him and the Tetrarch, the Legionary known only as The Bulwark unleashes his rage upon the enemies of the XIII, crushing all who oppose him beneath his mighty gauntlets, unwilling and unable to ask for or offer any quarter to the foe.
Forge Lord Gallicus - Swift to anger and slow to forgive, Forge Lord Gallicus does not view the coming of the XVII with the same hope as Tetrarch Lamiad. Instead, he sees a forced meeting with wayward brothers he would have rathered stay in their own little corner of the Galaxy. Were it not for his strict orders to speak no ill of the XVII, their commanders, or their Primarch; he would have most likely made such opinions blatantly clear to any who would listen. While he bears no love for the Word Bearers, he will obey his Primarch's command, and slake his dissatisfaction in the ashes of the Ghaslakh Xenohold.
Master of Signal Quintus - A thorough and instinctive understanding of the Ultramarines chain of command and an aptitude for relaying messages to and from his superiors marked Quintus early for Vox duties. Since his induction into the ranks of the Thirteenth, Quintus has served his Tetrarch with distinction, never failing to relay an order, and always with a keen eye on the reports flooding to his Commander from across any given theatre of war.
