Summary
Located between the Governors Palace, the Sub-Crypts and High Estate, the planets Medicae Facilities are a vast complex of hospitals, clinics and universities intermingled with habbitats for the staff and their families. Over the centuries rather than being a general admission medical care institute the entire district became a semi secretive guild, only open to those who had brokered alliances and deals, namely the rich and powerful.
Along with the highly ritualised and formal nature of the Medicae members is a strong sense of self preservation; what is the use to heal and cure if the administrators themselves are dead and gone. Striving to maintain some level of independance the district ensures that whichever military force has the strength to defend and fortify the area will have open access to their treatments.
