Battle Summary
Patched up and given a new helmet Eisen reviewed the replacements given to him. Both units of Gorgon Terminators were eager to revenge their fallen brothers - though doubtful about the tactical abilities of their new commander. Returning to the battleground scanners indicated enemy presence behind bulk doors and attempts to open these. Eisen ordered the first unit of terminators to intercept the enemy and deactivate the force field guarding the gate while he was investigating a larger blip indicated on his scanner. The Gorgons opened the gate and shot a hail of bolter rounds at what turned out to be Grave Wardens led by a Centurion. The Gorgons were not aided by the element of surprise and quickly repulsed and cut down when trying to withdraw. When the markings of his brothers deactivated in his helmet display Eisen hesitated in his advance toward the unknown foe on his flank. When an Contemptor dreadnought rounded the corner and came into view Eisen could only seek cover to avoid the bullets of the Kheres Assault Cannon. He was glad he had a melta bomb ready but was dreading the attempt to place it on the Cybot while the entombed veteran took swings at him. His hopes were dashed even more when the newly arrived second unit of Terminators were cut down like their comrades by the Grave Wardens. Eisen decided that HQ had to get news of the new enemies in the vicinity and withdrew to make sure no static interference would scramble the message.
