Campaign Summary
When first found by a splinter fleet of the 597th expedition during the great crusade, little was known of the Adlayd System or its planets. However initial scans did show signs of plentiful natural resources on Hyperborea prime and, after their compliance, the Baylonian Conclave of the Oteal system revealed that they had found evidence of an advanced civilization. The Whole system disappeared, however, behind warp storms of unprecedented size before the forces of the imperium were able to return and it was forgotten.
Now, as the civil war rages, rumors are spreading throughout the Centrumeh Sub-System that the warp storms have dissipated and that the lost technological wonders of Hyperborea Prime are up for the taking. Adepts of the reformed Baylonian Conclave have also offered a reward for any lost STC Fragments or Archeotech found, causing a small influx of civilians from Centrumeh Gate and other surrounding systems wanting to strike it rich. Upon hearing of the interest in Hyperborea and the rewards promised by the Conclave, Traitor and Loyalist legions have both sent forces to take the Adlayd system and control its resources and any lost technology that could aid in the ongoing civil war.
