Population

Shortly after Compliance of the System, the Imperium sent hundreds of colony habitats to the world to setup an extensive mining operation, which, ever since, has been growing quite rapidly. Although techinically under the control and authority of the governor on Cambrius, the communities on the planet normally answer directly to the Sectors regional delegates, such is the importance of the ore being mined; Adamantium.

History

Only recently settled after Compliance of the system discovered vast veins of Adamantium winding their way through the planet. The growth of the planets infrastructure and population has been hampered by the hostile environment of the planet, but the value of the resource makes the effort more than worth it. Careful planning by onsite Adeptus Mechanicus enclaves ensures that the mining activity does not destablise the precarious world, carefully mapping the veins and the best method of extraction.

All of these safe guards and caution, however, may be for nought as the onset of the Heresy has drawn the military attention of both factions. While initial fighting has erupted on Cambrius and reported attacks have occured on the listening post at the edge of the system, it will only be a matter of time before full scale war erupts and the mighty Legion fleets arrives insystem to lay claim to the vast resources.
