Description

Celyne is a hellish world of blazing hot temperatures, crushing surface pressure, and a highly caustic atmosphere. The thick acidic atmosphere makes human habitation on the surface impossible. Only specially cooled machines reinforced with ceramite and adamantine can hope to survive for more than a few minutes on Celyne’s blasted volcanic surface. Only very limited surface mining for exceptionally rare ores is even attempted. High in the atmosphere, where the temperature and pressure are more tolerable, special acid-hardened refinery platforms float serenely on the winds. Gasses harvested and processed from the atmosphere of Celyne are shipped across the Umbral Stars, especially to Umbra Major itself, where they are used for Titan-grade weapons production.
