Lying outside the Spiral proper, Corabie is a relatively safe system in the wild space of the Helix Cluster and is its self proclaimed Sub-Sector Governor, with no other Imperial settlements within the Cluster there is no contestation. The system sits on the primary warp route from Savage Reach, a very fragile lifeline back to safer portions of the Imperium which is now closed to them due to the Warp Storms which flared up, and, had the storms not occured, this strategic location would have proven quite profitable for the System as the Great Crusade pushed deeper into the Cluster and the Easter Fringe.
With the communication lost and the Imperium at war, however, this far flung outpost has been all but forgotten by both Loyalist and Traitor; the gateway System to a hostile Sub-Sector, yet untamed by Man. The forces already present in the System, though, being unaware of the schism, continue to fight shoulder to shoulder to carve out new domains for the Emperor.
