D43 - Ankaelia

Uninhabited world. Although a system without habitable planets, Ankaelia is critical to the D43 cluster as it contains the Ankaelia Warp Rift. This rift has been stable for an estimated 6,000 years, and allows quick passage from D43 to neighboring subsectors. The only inhabited facility is the Ankaelia Starfort, home to over a million crew and several million support personnel.
