As the most powerful of the VIIIth's "Dream Eaters", Zharost is tasked with excruciating psychic torment and extraction of information. After the Edict of Nikea, Fel Zharost is effectively exiled from the command structure of the VIIIth legion by Sevatar, although the particulars of the edict are not enforced strongly within the VIII. Eventually he flees to the lightless prison-sumps of Terra, his original home, unaware of the terrible actions on Istvaan, or the heresy as a whole. The profile here can be used to field Fel prior to the Edict of Nikea, or as the leader of a Night Lords loyalist force much later in the heresy.

Staff of Allucidenti The Staff of Allucideni (the consumer of dreams), is a Force Staff. When Fel Zharost inflicts wounds on en enemy using a psychic power, or an activated force weapon, even if the wound is saved, he gains a token. He can only gain a maximum of one token per phase. These tokens are always considered to belong to Fel Zharon, and cannot be assigned to any other model, but their benefit also applies to any squad he joins. Fear test against a unit with these tokens suffer -1 penalty for at least one token, -2 if there is at least three, and -3 if there is at least six. This penalty also applies to targets leadership when determining wounds using the Psychic Scream power, if the caster is benefiting from these tokens.

Exile of the VIIIth Fel Zharost may not be taken in campaigns based in the Istvaan timeline, or in forces containing Sevatar or the Night Haunter. Master of the VIII Librarius Fel Zharost is a Mastery Level 3 Psyker who can generate powers only from the Telepathy school, if he is chosen as warlord one command squad can be upgraded to an "Exiled Librarius" command squad for 40 points. The legion standard bearer is replaced by a codicier, who has the same statistics but is armed with a force weapon, and is a mastery level 1 psyker. He can be upgraded to mastery level 2 for 30 points. The entire command squad has the "Brotherhood of Psykers" special rule, and can replace any power weapons with their force weapon equivalents for free.

Force Implosion If Fel Zharost has any tokens from his Staff of Allucidenti, then he can discard one in order to be treated as having defensive grenades for the next game turn, his staff is also considered to have the rending special rule for this turn.
