The 504th Solar Auxilia Operational Detachment (504th SAOD) is a Solar Auxilia Mechanised Infantry Regiment in the Imperial Army, first formed in 9 001 942.M31 as part of the 82nd Formenos Division. A parent regiment under the Solar Auxilia Regimental System, two battalions from the regiment, 1st Battalion (1-504 SAOD) and 2nd Battalion (2-504 SAOD), are currently active, both assigned to the 453nd Expedition Fleet, Legio XIII.
Beginnings
The regiment was initially constituted on 9 001 942.M31 in the Imperial Army as the 504th Imperial Infantry Regiment. The First, Second and Third Battalions were constituted on 9 030 942.M31 as Company A, B, and C, respectively, of the 504th Imperial Infantry Regiment, and were activated 9 150 942.M31 at Fort Château de Glace, Formenos V, and was assigned to the Solar Auxilia Command. When it completed its training, it was assigned on 9 900 942.M31 to the 82nd Formenos Division. Elements of 1-504 SAOD and 2-504 SAOD were combined to create the 504th Solar Auxilia Operational Detachment to be attached to the 453nd Expedition Fleet, Legio XIII.
