History

Before Compliance came, Inferno was the only hospitable planet in the resource rich system, and though life couldn't survive elsewhere in the system, travel to other planets did occur, though this was predominantly for the harvesting of resources. When the 517th Expeditionary Fleet arrived, it was a bloodless compliance, led by the Lord Militant Gurisman and his Solar Auxillia force, the Governor General of Inferno bowed to Imperial Rule, recognising their lost Kin and pledging their world, and a tithe to the Imperial Army.

At the outbreak of the Heresy, the world did not declare for either side, instead looking at an isolation policy, knowing that they were self sufficient as they had previously been, though as war broke out across the galaxy, it wasn't long before both sides tried to lay their claim for the planet and the resources it had control over.
