History

A completely oceanic world, not dissimilar to many found in the fledgling Imperium except that its oceans consists almost entirely of fresh water. The world is relatively massive and gravity is somewhat high due to the huge weight of the liquid water adding to the planets mass. Deep surveyance scanners are yet to properly map the ocean as much of the planets ocean floor is too deep even for the Mechanicum’s reinforced, high pressure exploratory probes. To this day scholars and magi can only theorise of how much actual planet there is under the leagues upon leagues of ocean.

Johannes Jaunt has no true settlements or permanent structures, but is exploited for its vast freshwater reserves. These are generally gathered by Mechanicum mass conveyancers designed specifically for water acquisition and transport. During its short 200 odd years within the fold of the Imperium its water levels have dropped by only 0.35% even though Mechacium calculations extrapolate gross water exports as being over 1000 times the amount of Terra’s entire water reserves prior or to its many cataclysmic scourings.
