Description

Juliette is a pale blue ice giant at the edge of the Childriss system. Childriss locals believe that the planet was named after the daughter of the Explorator captain who first catalogued the system. Indeed, the old Faroe folk-saying “Eyes as blue as the winds of Juliette” is often applied to those whose coloration matches the cold methane-ice atmosphere of the planet. Typically for a giant planet, Juliette has many moons, all of which are supposedly named after family members of the original explorator vessel’s officer cadre. Three of these moons are strategically significant.

Charlotte

Classification: Dead World (mining world)
Government: Imperium, Corporate/Administratum (Administrator Malakov)
Tithe Grade: Solutio Prima (unrefined ores)
Armed Forces: Kelograd Arbites Squad, Imperial Navy system assets.
Terrain (typical): Rugged (Ice mountains and mines)
Notable Locations: Kelograd Surface Station

Kelograd Surface Station is the only habitation on Charlotte. It is home to the few thousand miners and their families that live on this cold, dead world. The citizens of Kelograd are self reliant as a rule and often are suspicious of outsiders. They will fight to the death to preserve the niche they have painstakingly (and literally) carved out of the galaxy.

Becca

Classification: Dead World (Ice world)
Government: Imperium, Corporate/Administratum (Administrator Briden)
Tithe Grade: Solutio Extremis (water, salts)
Armed Forces: Arbites Squad, Imperial Navy system assets.
Terrain (typical): Wastes (Ice Plains), Rugged (Ice mountains)
Notable Locations: Corina Well, Decimus Well, Delos Well, Becca Central Holding Facility, Becca Rail Hub.

Becca is a frozen ice ball that harbors a liquid water ocean far beneath its surface. Several multi-kilometer deep artesian wells tap this huge water reservoir and pump it to the surface, where it is purified, processed, and ultimately shipped off-world to the wider Imperium. Each “Well” features the well head itself, along with its own pumping station, desalinization and purification plant, worker habs, export facilities, and power reactor. In times of conflict, each Well can operate as a self-contained unit. Normally, however, the water from each Well is pumped through a miles-long series of pipes to a central holding facility where it can be more efficiently loaded for transport into starships. Following these pipes is a network of high-speed mag-lev rail lines that allow quick transit between Wells and to any point on the pipe system.

Elise

Classification: Dead World (Industrial moon)
Government: Imperium, Corporate/Administratum (Administrator Hardwicke)
Tithe Grade: Decuma Secundus (primarily merchant and explorator ships, small military vessels)
Armed Forces: Elise PDF regiment, Arbites squads, Imperial Navy system assets.
Terrain (typical): Wastes (Ice/rocky plains, landing zones), Rugged (mountains, surface habs, shipyards)
Notable Locations: Central Administration Hab, Primary Reactor, Elise Yards

Like the other worlds this far away from Childriss A, Elise is a deeply-frozen ball of ices and rock. It is the most populous of the moons of Juliette. Large pressure-sealed habs dot the surface, which house a population in the tens of thousands. Elise acts as the central materials processing, fabrication, and trans-shipment hub for the outer Childriss system. It also boasts a modestly sized shipyard capable of producing interstellar vessels up to frigate-class.
