History
Prior to the events in Isstvan the 26th IEU was sent to the Heiliv system to bring the large cluster into line with the growing Crusade. The 26th had great successes in the cluster crushing minor combatants and planets that didn’t accept the light of the Emperor as rule. During their Campaign of this system the 26th was temporarily immobilized by a large localized warp storm halting their progress. After the storms subsided and released the ensnared Expeditionary Unit the communication was restored to the Major Vox-nets and the Unit found out about the Traitor Horus and the actions of their own Legion and others in the separation from the Emperors guidance. The 26th still loyal to the Emperor made contact with other Loyalist legions and started the voyage to rendezvous and reinforce other Loyalist legions struggling with Traitor legions in nearby systems.
