History
At Signus Prime the Fifth Company of the Blood Angels legion saw the depths of their own rage realized to its fullest potential.
Having to bear the burden of the deaths of Redknife and his pack on his soul and withhold the truth from his beloved primarch Captain of the Fifth Company Nassir Amit turned his inner guilt into fury. Seeking to atone for their sins and bring furious retribution to the traitors Amit petitioned Sanguinius to allow him and his bloody fifth to persecute every action that other Captains of the legion found distasteful cutting a bloody swathe through traitors forces throughout the age of darkness.
The Second Golloch War
Battle for Lasombrachs
Arriving late in the Golloch sector a war was raging across the surface of the polluted mining world of Lasombrachs. Nassir Amit seeing his loyalist comrades heavily engaged trying to secure the planets surface to orbit mineral elevator. The local imperial army garrison on the planet had collected their full strength surprisingly even consisting of a compliment of super heavy armour and they were moving to secure and fortify the surrounding refinery which would have the effect of pinning the loyalist forces in place while the traitor astartes formed a hammer to rout them.
Amit unsure of their allegiance issued an ultimatum from the bridge of his cruiser, retreat and leave the refinery clear for the ninth or be destroyed. No response came from the army regiment and the blood angels response was swift and brutal. The pre humans attemting to hold the refinery were to a man put to the sword, Amit personally slaying the army's heavily mechanically augmented commander in hand to hand combat while twin leviathan seige dreadnoughts Ancient Briarthos and Ancient Barbelo routed the enemies armour.
Having secured an avenue of retreat for the loyalist forces the fifth withdrew to engage traitor forces elsewhere in the Golloch sector.
