==History== The 22nd Line company was raised after the Ullanor campaign. Most of the marines assigned to the 22nd were drawn-up from the remains of two other taskforce's(the 39th & the 108th Line company's) that had been wiped-out by the Orks of that world. The Battle-brothers of the 22nd have had obtained the reputation of being Grim and determined even amongst their own legion. This comes as little surprise as most of the company's legionnaires still feel bitterness of see their closest brothers fall in death; then losing their original unit identity. The commanding officer of the 22nd is Preator Steffen Budnovic a unification wars veteran and winner of Iron halo for valor, in accordance with service in the Necromunda campaign.The 22nd saw its fist Action and battle Honor in the Breton Sub-sector with the 701sr expedition. Unlike the rest of the legion, the 22nd was not sent to Terra to help fortify the imperial plaice. Instead the 22nd was one of many imperial fist detachments that remained with the expedition fleets to continue the work of the great crusade in anyway possible.
