History
Caitiff and apostates all, the Marines of the 78th Company of the Night Lords have a protracted and caliginous history filled with a constant dereliction of duty over its two hundred year history. From their actions during the Compliance of Kharaatan, to their abandonment of the Lerghan Ridge Line in the Urgall Depression on day 0 that allowed the Raven Guard to eventually escape the Drop Site Massacre the 78th company have valued “strategic retreat” over all other tactics. It was their actions on Istavaan V that led to the remainder of the entire company to receive a summons to the Nightfall and a meeting with their Primarch. Conrad Kruse personally berated Captain Agon Sulaj, and decreed that the surviving members all bear the Sinners Red Gauntlets reserved for “traitors and fools”.
