| Raven Guard 8th Talon |
The 8th Talon is known for its infantry based assault, using the shadows to strike at an armies weakest point. Because of their furious reputation they are often accompanied by Alverex Maun who uses the 8th Talons specialised tactics to carry out brutal air assault and alpha strikes.

History
The 8th Talon differes from other talons of this era, rather than being made for a specific role, its ranks are filled with battle brothers who had formed together who were still on istvann V surface when corax was rescued. After their primarchs escape the 8th Talon made their way to near by traitor garrison held by the Emperors Children. During the night they used infiltration and hit and run tactics to annihilate the traitor forces and use their comms station to call for evacuation.
