History
Founding
The 27th company fought for many years alongside the main body of the legion directly under Horus as part of the 63rd expedition, It was during the years operating from the decks of the Vengeful Spirit that the 27th acquired the name the ‘’Sons of Vengeance’’. Shortly after Horus was proclaimed warmaster they were granted command over the newly formed 909th expeditionary fleet.
Commander
Battle Captain Kyrus “the Cruel’ Qorgyle like much of the legion was recruited from cthonia and has commanded the 27th for over 100 years. His loyalty to the Warmaster is absolute however his disdain for Cthonian gang “culture” becoming prevalent in the legion has left him at odds with many of the legions senior commanders.
