History

Although evidence remains that the Word Bearer Chaplain Norek Ull was favoured by First Chaplain Erebus of the XVIIth Legion, there is little to explain his history with the Chapter of the Bloodstone Circle, nor why their detachment was left to garrison the Fuschal System. Perhaps Ull selected them, just as he had a hand in the selection of which Mechanicum and Militia forces remained on Fuschal. Certainly, the disparate units reacted with unusual cohesion, despite the initial surprise attack by the Liberation Fleet.

Small units of the Chapter were spread widely across Fuschal, supervising the indoctrination of the population, and leading much larger forces of press-ganged locals and imported cultists.
