History
The 22nd company of the Vakrah Jal fought during the shadow crusade and bloodied their blades and claws in Ultramarine blood. They are veterans of the Battle for Armatura and the Battle of Nuceria. On both occasions they had the honor to see their gene father and chapter master, Lorgar Aurelian and Argel Tal respectively. After the crusade ended they were given free rein to continue their bloody fight against any foe. It was here that Commander Tol Dextus took the 22nd company and its mortal cults to find those of his legion that escaped ,Erebus's folly, at Calth.
Sailing the 500 worlds he comes across few that escaped but does manage to find a battalion from the Graven Star chapter. Their leader a Captain Tarus Kel told the commander of the Vakrah Jal what had happened and how he barely got his men off the planet in time. Hearing the tale Dextus hate for the First Chaplain deepen even more in the weight of his failure and the rumor that he was responsible for his chapter masters death. However he had a war to fight and it was his Primarchs wish to cause more suffering and death in the galaxy. With the Graven Stars armor he set out across the stars to do his Primarchs will.
The 22nd specialized in drop assault and fast strikes right into the enemy lines to cause chaos and take out command elements and now with an armored battalion with him he was able to create a hammer and anvil strike force. Between the two officers worlds would burn under tread of tank or impact of dread claws. With the fires of heresy burning across the galaxy the Word Bearers left the 500 worlds to begin to teach other loyalists the truth of Chaos.
