History
Lead by Commander Na'vash the 3/6th, like all Astartes fought at the vanguard of the Great Crusade, bringing many worlds into the fold of the expanding Imperium. They earned the nickname "The Gorladons" for their tendency to advance implacably, absorbing any punishment up front on their shields before returning the favour to the enemy when they are within reach. Like most of the Salamanders Legion they suffered terribly at Istvaan, with only a few fragmented squads surviving the event.
