History
After Vulkan had been reunited with the XVIII Legion, Artellus Numeon, one of the senior commanders of the legion, became his equerry and rose to the rank of the Pyre Captain. Numeon was one of the few Terran legionaries left in the legion but this was no hindrance and made him a well respected leader. He commanded the legions 1. Realm and was its Lord Protector. Together with other senior Terran commanders he was honoured with the membership in Vulkans Pyreguard. The members of the Pyreguard united the tribal culture of the nocturneans and the honour and war making of the warriors of old Nippon. Being born in Nippon Numeon had a strong bond with its old culture and understanding of respect and honour. These qualities were the reason he rose quickly in the legions hierarchy and why he was respected by the senior officers of the other legions such as Sigismund with whom he shared a close friendship.
As the lord commander of the legions 1. Realm he has almost unlimited resources to destroy the enemies in Vulkans name.
