Description

Nell’s World orbits near the inner edge of Demiurgus’ habitable zone. It is tidally locked to the star, which results in one side always facing Demiurgus, while the other is perpetually dark. The majority of the world is covered in ice, with a subsurface ocean beneath. A vast patch of open sea, the Sea of Scales, covers the area most directly exposed to the star. In this sea lives a marine ecosystem based on black-hued microflora that thrive on the high levels of infrared light bathing the day side. These support larger macro fauna, including many dangerous species.
