History
During the height of the power plays between the system Kingdoms, the Outpost station was a vital lynch pin in the systems military defense and was constantly manned by military regiments and escorted by some of the more potent of the system naval ships. All of this proved to be futile in the face of the Imperiums wrath; the station and its defending forces swept aside in less than a day of conflict. The saving grace for the station was that it was neatralised and no longer a threat before the discovery of the Xenos presence on the triplet Styges worlds, at which stage the assaulting forces left nothing in tact.
After the system was declared Compliant and the bulk of the Imperial forces moved on, a small effort was made to restore the station to operational status, managing to stabilise its orbit and restore limited atmospher but without considerable resources at their dispossal the System governor placed the efforts on hold, concentrating on the Imperial edict of cleansing the Styges planets.
