History
Battle Group Helios is a splinter force of Legio Invicta cut off from resupply and fighting behind enemy lines… Battle Group Helios was stationed on board the Macro Hauler Ferrum Invictus. It’s martial strength having been reduced to a single remaining Warlord, two Reaver class titans and six scouts. With the majority of their remaining strength in lighter engines, Battle Group Helios deployed most often as hunter killer packs of scout engines. Demi Maniple Mortem’s tactics have evolved into swift brutal attacks designed to decapitate or drive the enemy into the maw of the waiting Warlord and Reavers.
Prior to the Gomeiza Deployment or Execution KL450.4498X The macro hauler Ferrum Invictus made contact with elements of Knight House Vyronii in deep orbit outside the Gomeiza system. Answering a wide band transmission on a classified frequency, known only to the allies of Legio Invictus, the knights of House Vyronii, under command of Scion Elsbet Vorr pledged to lend their strength to the Gomeiza Walk.
